Subject: Peru!
Attached (and some emails after this one) are some important me-related references in case anything happens. By the way, I purchased TWO insurance policies. The first one is Access America (purchased through Orbitz when I bought my ticket), and the second is MedEx (an additional policy b/c the Access America wasn't that great). Both have MediVac included (up to $100k) and then I think I have like up to $600k in medical expenses. I will be forwarding you ALL of my hostel confirmations as I book them!
Another important thing - I updated my phone plan to allow for unlimited access to my email! So I'll have my phone turned on for most of the time and it will probably be my main form of communicating. I turned off my voicemail option since T-Mobile charges even if someone just leaves a message (it's $3.49 per minute!). So if you call me, it will just ring and ring, no voicemail will pick up. Also, please NO TEXTS OR BBM.
And, this is just for worst case scenarios...if I happen to call any of you, or even email/text, and I ever mention the word PURPLE. (i.e. The sky is looking kinda purple today!) That means I am in trouble. (Hmmm, in the event that I actually have to use the word purple (i.e. I found a really cute purple skirt today!) I will negate it with, "This is not an emergency.")
Okay, I think that is IT!!! I will be emailing everyone as soon as I land and am checked into my hostel.
