Hola!
So Hampi Land is the clinic I'm in right now, not some new exciting place in Peru. I had the chills all night and woke up this morning with a severe headache and fluid in my lungs (kinda felt like gross phlegm that I couldn't sneeze out) and my heart was beating a mile a minute and according to my guidebook - those are all signs of severe altitude sickness. So I taxi'd myself on over to a clinic that was recommended by SAE and have been here since around 12ish this afternoon. I just have really really low levels of oxygen and they've been pumping it into my lungs all day today. Its extremely common, there are even some 5-star hotels here that pump oxygen into your room if you want. Anyway, they took me off the oxygen about an hour ago and I just had another check up. My levels are low enough that they want me to stay the night - but I'm progressing normally. So nothing too serious.
So overall, I'm doing pretty good. Have been watching really bad music videos on MTV and channel E! all day. I'm more annoyed than anything bc this just pushes my plans back a day!
So nothing else new to report unfortunately besides the fact that I've probably have watched more TV today than I have in awhile! Hopefully ill be able to find a good tour that departs on Sundays!
